We’ve been the happy owners of many dogs over the years, but we have fallen head over heals in love with my Goldens. Here are some of the reasons:
- They are gorgeous! From their black noses to feathery tails, and all that coppery coat, Goldens are some of the best looking dogs out there.
- They just want to make you happy. I have never owned a dog more eager to please which makes training a pleasure.
- Also making them easy to train, is their keen intelligence. They are one of the most popular service dogs because of their ability to do complicated tasks and learn quickly.
- Amazing with kids! Most every list we’ve found for family-friendly dogs puts them near the top, if not number one, and I agree! Gentle and willing to please, they make a great playmate.
- Born to fetch! A great and easy way to exercise them.
- Great for multi pet households. When properly socialized, they will happily share the home with other animals.
- They love you! They don’t judge and will quickly become your best friends, always ready for a hug for cuddle.
